Why are you stopping Alece when I've only just found this blog? Do you not think you have anything more to add- or because you've done it for an assignment, the need is no longer there?

Well this is quite unexpected. No option to continue reporting sporadically on national advocacy issues, pass on to another author, or anything?

I had no idea about the complicated relationship that exists between OTs and optometrists; thank you for posting this article. Another great online resource you should check out for OT advice is the Cirrus Allied LinkedIn Group (username: Traveling Occupational Therapists). Traveling Occupational Therapists posts a variety of job opportunities in tons of U.S. cities and provides members with information on the most recent trends in occupational therapy.
Very interesting. It is important for OTs not to push all the neat equipment available, and instead figure out what will work best for each CLIENT.

Hmm, I think more causes/places/organizations need to sign up with this site near the Seattle area for people to volunteer at :)

Props for continuing the blog after the master's project ended :) This blog is awesome.

Thanks for the comment, I actually don't have any experience providing support services to individuals affected by cancer. As an OT student, I am aware of unique skills and services that OT practitioners could provide this population, and would personally love to see more OTs branch out into "non-traditional" areas of service delivery, such as community non-profits like Gilda's Club.
