About This Blog

OT Advocacy was launched in January, 2009 as part of a Master’s Project completed by two second year MOT students at the University of Washington.

The blog was created to:

  1. Promote interest and involvement in advocating for occupational therapy in the state of Washington
  2. Disseminate information about the Washington Occupational Therapy Association’s (WOTA) activities and advocacy efforts
  3. Create a forum for discussion about issues relevant to occupational therapy advocacy
  4. Build an online community of passionate occupational therapy practitioners and students
