Emerging Practice Areas

Emerging practice areas were first identified by AOTA in 2011 as the areas that occupational therapy practitioners had the potential to make an impact.  Many emerging practice areas have since become standard practice! In addition to advocating for your setting or population, it is important to identify to role of OT in emerging practice areas.
